Well you’ve all been asking for it, so here it is, the elevator drawing. It’s amazing, work can be so rough on people that even though these commuters are going home, they still look just as miserable as they do in the morning.
Today I put together a small collage of few reportage drawings I made during the evening rush hour. This has been great, but I’m ready for larger paper and larger ideas. It’s funny, it starts as a way to practice and document and already I’m ready to move on. Well onward and upward!
Back to work. A woman on the phone, no time to stop and talk, just keep moving. And then there is this girl who is waiting. Maybe she’s waiting for the woman on the phone?
This has been a great week drawing. I hope to keep up with it in terms of documenting these people. Here is an illustration of a group of unfortunate people standing in a painfully long line. Enjoy the weekend.
