Today I put together a small collage of few reportage drawings I made during the evening rush hour. This has been great, but I’m ready for larger paper and larger ideas. It’s funny, it starts as a way to practice and document and already I’m ready to move on. Well onward and upward!
View post →Back to work. A woman on the phone, no time to stop and talk, just keep moving. And then there is this girl who is waiting. Maybe she’s waiting for the woman on the phone?
View post →This has been a great week drawing. I hope to keep up with it in terms of documenting these people. Here is an illustration of a group of unfortunate people standing in a painfully long line. Enjoy the weekend.
View post →Here are 2 of my favorites of the day. An intense NY Times reader and a content Indian man on the subway. Different?, certainly.
View post →So it’s just too difficult to draw 1 person a day, so I’m just going to put up as many as I think works for that day. This is New York City afterall. So here are 3 women that I found particularly different and interesting. They each had their own distinct personalities, which helped distract […]

I think they are a great reportage subject and I’ve decided to post a daily commuter to my blog. My first entry is a drawing of an older, heavy set man feverishly tapping away […]

The article, written by Brenda Peterson, discusses the concept of rapture through the eyes of 2 neighbors tending to harbor seals. Not an easy story to illustrate, but what a GREAT assignment! I’m really happy with how it turned out, […]
View post →This past weekend I had this illustration published in the Chicago Tribune. I had the opportunity to work with one of my favorite ADs Nicole Dudka. The article is loaded with visuals and I’m really happy with how it worked out.
