If you've been watching any of the #NHL or #nbaplayoffs you've probably seen some of my #illustrations and didn't even realize it. I didn't even see it the first few times ????I was asked to #draw #googlepixel phones for this cross promotion between #ATT and #GOOGLE The phones, #handdrawn, had a feel that more closely matched that of a bistro menu. A fun little project, at least the very small part I played in it was. #illustrator #advertising #TV
When I received this commission from @jeffersonuniv to contribute to their magazine, RESEARCH, I was excited as I've always been drawn to butterfly imagery and the idea of metamorphosis, but that was not at all what this was about. Butterfly disease is a devastating disorder that often leads to an aggressive and fatal skin cancer. People who have this rare genetic condition have skin as fragile as butterfly's wings because their bodies do not make enough collagen to hold the layers of their skin together. This leads to painful blistering and ultimately cancer. Most patients do not live to the age of 35.
#fridaynight #babysitting My daughter is 4. She moves constantly. I can't understand how I never really noticed it. Great fun and great practice. #drawing #motiondrawing #linedrawing #study #illustration
