Last month I visited New Orleans and had a chance to spend two nights on Frenchman Street in the world famous French Quarter. Frenchman Street is famous for its eclectic mix of live music happening nightly, late into the night. Perfect for me to put the kids to bed and get out to experience the music and make a few drawings. I had a great time “club-hopping” and taking in everything from booming brass ensembles to gentle voices singing. I recommend this experience for any traveler and certainly any artist. Here are the drawings I made over the 2 nights.
I’m heading to NOLA next month for some sketching, inspired by your brilliant musician sketches here!
Thank you Susan! Have a wonderful time, there’s plenty to keep you busy there…Enjoy!
