Illustrations for Bowdoin Magazine

It’s been awhile since my last post but I’ve been busy. Some projects (more than I’m happy to say), have started and then gone away, and some I can’t yet talk about, but here is one I’m really excited to share. I had a great collaboration with the team at Bowdoin Magazine on 2 illustrations for their Fall issue.

I was asked to illustrate the story of Bowdoin alum Ed Burton who searches for American soldiers who never came home. Whether POW or lost in battle his research has brought closure to countless families. What an inspiring story, I hope I did it justice.

Here are the opening spread and spot that I illustrated. I also included some of the sketches.
