This past Sunday, I had another illustration appear in the Chicago Tribune Style section. This time it was for an article on ‘Men’s fear of color’ (in their wardrobe). I really enjoyed this illustration and would love to hear what you think. Thanks!

This is beautiful! What medium did you use? How planned was the process? At first glance it appears to be an artistic version of ones stream of consciousness, but looking closer its’s clear that there’s more to it than that. I love the colors!
Hi Leslie, thank you for the kind words. This is a watercolor painting with an ink drawing overlay. I also added some color digitally. It was for a ‘style’ article in the Chicago Tribune.
